"Mountaintop to Tap" Documentary Screening

Join us on Saturday night at The Catskill Center, April, 19th at 7:00 PM for the premier showing in the Catskill Mountain Region of the extraordinary film chronicling a journey of a liftetime!

"Mountaintop to Tap"! Six City Kids, Six Country Kids, three weeks, 150 miles !!! What do six students from the Harbor School in Brooklyn, New York and six from Sidney High School in rural upstate New York have in common? WATER !!!

On the 10th anniversary of the historic watershed agreement...the teenagers hike, camp, tube, row, explore, take photographs, journal, learn and dance their way along the path of New York City's water supply system....from Mountaintop to Tap. Along the way, they learn about earth science, ecology, physics, history, politics....plus, get some big lessons in teamwork and tolerance.

Filmmaker Kent Garrett of Delhi Stories, Inc will be on hand to introduce the film and answer questions. Film made possible by a grant for the Catskill Watershed Corporation in partnership with the NYCDEP.
